Posters are to remind viewers that Earth Day is everyday (noted in the dates Jan. 1 – Dec. 31 from 12 AM to 11:59 PM).

These posters play at the intersection of designing with physical materials and digital tools. The left, green poster was created by spelling “Earth Day” out with dirt on top of a green piece of paper. I photographed this at an angle and combined it in InDesign with a photo of curvy tree-bark, acting as a path to the event dates in the upper right corner. The right poster was created by collecting fallen leaves and arranging them on a black piece of paper—working with the shapes, colors, and negative space to create the desired composition.
